Your First Visit

What to expect, your first time.

A quiet, considered first visit — assessment, treatment, and a plan for what comes next.

01

Before you come

Wear loose, comfortable clothing. Eat something light beforehand — not on a completely empty stomach. Bring a list of medications and any relevant reports.

02

The assessment

Your practitioner will ask about your history and goals, and look at your pulse and tongue — the traditional way of reading your constitution.

03

Your treatment

Treatment is tailored to you that day — often acupuncture with bodywork, moxibustion or cupping. Tell us about anything that feels uncomfortable.

04

After & follow-up

You may feel relaxed or a little tired. We will suggest a plan and any home advice, and review at follow-ups.
