Fertility & Pregnancy

Support before, during and after pregnancy — gentle care alongside your medical team.

Fertility & Pregnancy
How TCM can help

Many people use acupuncture and TCM as supportive, complementary care while trying to conceive, through pregnancy, and in recovery afterward — for stress, sleep, energy and overall wellbeing. TCM is not a substitute for fertility or obstetric medical care, and we make no promises about conception or outcomes. We coordinate with, and work alongside, your doctor or fertility clinic, and take extra care with what is appropriate at each stage.

What to expect

A careful intake covers where you are in your journey, any medical care or fertility treatment you are receiving, and what is appropriate at this stage. Sessions are gentle and coordinated with your medical team; herbal formulas, if used, are chosen carefully for the stage.

We take extra care in pregnancy — certain points, herbs and techniques are avoided. Please always tell us if you are or may be pregnant.

Common questions
Is it safe in pregnancy?

Certain approaches are used supportively in pregnancy; others are avoided. We take extra care and coordinate with your medical team. Please always tell us if you are or may be pregnant so we can adjust care.

Will it help me conceive?

We make no such promise. Acupuncture and TCM are used here as supportive, complementary care alongside your medical or fertility team — for stress, sleep, energy and overall wellbeing — not as a substitute for fertility medicine.

Do you work with my fertility clinic?

Yes — we work alongside your doctor or fertility clinic and are happy to coordinate with their plan. Please bring details of any treatment, medication or timing so the practitioner can adjust care.
