Absorbable threads at acupoints for continuous, between-visit stimulation — used to support weight management.
A fine, absorbable thread is placed at each selected acupoint with a slim needle applicator. As it absorbs over the following weeks it keeps stimulating the point gently — like an acupuncture session that continues between visits.
In TCM weight-management care it is used to support appetite regulation, digestion and metabolism, always alongside sensible eating and activity. Results vary from person to person; your practitioner will assess your pattern first.
Also known as acupoint catgut / PDO embedding (穴位埋线); single-use, sterile materials only.
A brief pinch at each point as the thread is placed; the area may feel mildly heavy or tender for a day or two.
Threads absorb on their own — nothing to remove. Sessions are spaced to match your plan.
