Yao (Vivian) Chen is a Registered Acupuncturist and Registered TCM Practitioner in British Columbia from a family of TCM practitioners — her family has run a TCM clinic in the United States for nearly 30 years. In clinic she draws on a range of techniques, including myofascial trigger-point acupuncture, FSN, cupping and moxibustion, to treat pain conditions such as migraine, neck and shoulder pain and lower-back pain. She also supports internal concerns — stress-related insomnia, poor appetite, eye fatigue and low energy — and has strong clinical experience with menopause-related issues such as insomnia, hot flashes, night sweats, cold hands and feet, and mood swings.
