Dave Gifford graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2002 and has practised ever since. His expertise covers athletic and sports massage, pre- and post-natal massage, workplace stress, headaches and ergonomic issues, and ICBC claimants, with valuable experience serving specialized populations including geriatric clients and multiple-sclerosis patients — he has also collaborated with UBC athletic teams. His techniques include Active Release, myofascial release, sports petrissage, trigger-point therapy, systemic deep-tissue therapy and joint mobilizations, tailored to each client to balance effectiveness with minimal post-treatment discomfort. Born and raised in White Rock, Dave stays active through cycling, snowboarding and travel.
